What's up with those headlights?

 

My good friend Leland Grants, bought this Chev convert new in San Francisco, and owned it 'till he passed a few years back. He had Gene Winfield do most of the mods, which started when it was new, but never finished the critter enough to get into paint. A good friend and I finished the work, with input from Leland, and he had a chance to take a ride before he died........ He told me after that cruize that his bucket was empty, and it was time to go meet his creator. He died a couple weeks later. Broke my heart !!
