Got out this morning and took a few HAMB friendly pics of my 47 Lincoln. I say now HAMB friendly because I now have some period correct wheels in place of the bullet holes that I ran for a long time. 275/60/15" on 8 1/2" rear wheels, fronts are 215/70/15" on 7" wheels. Fill the fenders nicely I think. Power comes from a 302 FORD with an AOD transmission. It has a few bumps and bruises, not a show car by any means, but fun to drive and go to cruise in's in. Still things I want to do to it, so like HRP says, it's still a beater.
When I was a sophomore in high school in 1956, a guy in school had a 1946-48 Lincoln coupe. I thought that they were rare then.
Good deal. Berry is on April 23, you need to load up the bus and come on over for a while. I haven’t heard yet if Mayfest in Guin is a go yet or not. @VANDENPLAS , I haven’t forgot the pics, just been busy. This work thing gets in the way of fun things.
