Here's a couple old pics of my 54 Buick. Still have it but it's not as clean after 100,000 miles......

 

My wife says it is her car but I did build it and I maintain it. Note the gold tooth in the grille.

 

Lucille, my red '54 Ranch Wagon. 8 inch rear end out of a Maverick, front disc brakes, and a knee knocker A/C unit. Current install of a 302/AOD combo stalled at the rewire stage. Orchard, garden, and house fixing getting in the way.

My first yank motor around 1975 after a flame paint job then a 401 Buick engine and as it is today but not owned by me now unfortunately...

 

This is one of mine, 1954 Ford. I don’t show it as much attention as I should.

I dont own it anymore. my 54Chev sedan delivery caught fire & totaled in 2004. loved being so unique, chopped 6", 59 Plym taillights, Buick Grand Nat'l V6 turbo drivetrain, 79 MonteCarlo dash

 

My 54 Conestoga is in other areas, but since you asked for 54 cars...

Gotta love the blue !! This is my little salesman's coupe. It's just right for an old man's racer.

 

About 15 years ago I built this '54 Chevy Panel (with '48 sheet metal) for my wife...someone offered me STUPID money for it, and I sold it out from under her. She was less than pleased about the sale

 

Man, I love that car, it reminds me of a real street fighter! HRP

Nice Plymouth!! besides the headlight rings, what other subtle changes did you make? You sure knocked the old man off of it!

 

Channeled the body 4" and a lot of little stuff -- Flipped and shaved the front bumper, louvered the front fenders, got rid of the top hood ornament, shaved the door handles, made the taillight lenses, reshaped the rear wheel cutouts because of lengthened wheelbase, put the gas filler in trunk, made the lower rear pan, and shaved a couple of trunk ornaments.

It takes a lot of time and work to make a car look simple and understated but stand out in a crowd, it's all the small things even though they are major modifications.
