Sorry about Sophie. I was hoping Chester would last until Christmas when my boy came home so he could see him one last time but it wasn't to be. Glad you're back and I like everyone else looks forward to updates.

Get well soon. I’ve had all sorts of surgery in the last five years. I’ve been feeling better. Now I’m on my way to the doctor this afternoon. Very high blood sugar I thought (rationalized) was under control. It’s always something, dang it.

Welcome back brother! It is good to have you back in the fold and to hear from you. Like others have said, take 'er easy as you rehab, listen to the Docs, and before you know it you will be running on all cylinders again - sorry for the bad car/engine metaphor:oops:o_O:eek::confused:...:)

Follow doctor's orders and get better. First couple weeks are rough but it gets better. Amazing what getting up and walking will do to make you feel better. Sorry to hear about your buddy. Doctor's know what you will be able to do. You will be up and going pretty good in about 4 to 6 weeks.

Our fur babies become family members, so it's always hard when we lose one. Most of us say we won't get attached to another one, but after a while, we usually do.

My brother made it to the ripe old age of 60 so I'm with the every day above ground is a good day crew. He made it a couple years after they told him he probably wouldn't make it through the surgery if they tried to operate.

I hear you, brother. I had shoulder surgery this year, another heart attack two more stents and that nasty virus. Trying to bounce back. Doing better, not real bouncy yet, but better than you are right now, so I'm grateful.
You won't heal as fast as you want to. Try to be patient. Maybe don't be a tornado right away. Maybe a warm spring breeze to start. LOL
    Our crew says hi.
And we all hope you get real better real soon.

True. I lost my car/rod riding girl who was 14 nine months ago. no more dogs, until i saw a rescue on the spca internet after four months. He's 5 years old, a senior like me, and totally wonderful. Sits in the pass. seat with his head taller than mine, love it.

Happy to hear that you are on the mend. So sorry about your Sophie .
So , is Speedweek still on your radar? If the stars align , we'll be going down and we go right through Princeton and hit the border at Nighthawk. It still depends on the summer fire season though.

I s wondering where you were. Glad your surgery went well and you’ll be back at full torque in no time. Days are getting brighter and a little warmer. Spring is a great time to recover like all the plants around your place...

As been said attitude means a lot, also follow the docs/therapists orders and you'll do fine. I had triple by-pass 9 yrs ago last month and when I was in therapy many treated it as a relaxing gab fest. Don't do that, get in there and do the exercises. By May I was doing my annual parts trip alone and visiting my son in Kalispell Mt. which is 1800+ mi one way
