HAMB Drags. Report

I just got back from the drags at MoKan. I left at 8:00. They were just getting ready for the eliminations when the electric went off due to thunderstorms in the area. There was lightning to the west and I hit heavy rain about 5 miles from MoKan. When left they were just waiting to see what happened. Hopefully they got the electric back on and the rain missed them, but it didn't look very promising. It was bigger this year than last and I feel I got my moneys worth anyway.

They were just getting ready to announce that when I left. The PA was on generator.

Ive been staring at my phone all afternoon hoping Id get the call about the engine raffle, along with every one else im sure.

 

No it dont Here is the local radar, maybe?

 

The drags were a blast. If any hambers need to use my shop tomorrow to get out of town pm me.

 

Did they get to run any of the eliminations

No eliminations, only qualifying. One heck of lightning storm.

 

All I can say is wAY COOL.......
so many awsome rides. pic's will be on the way, so many camera's
clicken everwhere. it's still raining out side now [ 11:00 pm joplin time ]
have a long drive home in the morning, will post pic's later.
put the drags on your calender now for next year.
