Does anyone know or has anyone ever put 1937 Ford wide five spyder hubcaps on a 1939 Ford wheel. Did a search on the HAMB and found a thread about 1936 being one year fit only and 1938 carrying into 1939 but no reference if the 1937 would fit the 39.
Anybody know for sure or tried the interchange.

'36 - '39 wheels are all the same (except for v8-60s). It was the '36 front drums that were different.

V860s had narrower rims, centers were the same.

The '36 wheels had round head rivets holding the hubcap clip that protrude on the back of the wheel, the '37-'39 wheels have a flush head, but I don't think it matters because all the drums I've seen have a little dimple in the drum to clear the '36 rivet head.

  4. Any '36-'39 Ford, Lincoln Zephyr, or '39 Merc cap will fit any of the '36-'39 wide five wheels.
