  2. This thread is like Mopar quicksand. What a way to go! '63 Plymouths- the wagons rule, but that red wedge coupe is too much.

The Crispy Critter was owned and driven by Wayne Dokken of Clearwater, Florida.
I asked Wayne how he came up with the name Crispy Critter, and he told me it was a car actor on a box of cereal back in the 60s

He had a few cars with the same name, and I know one of them was a station wagon that he raced.
He passed away about 5 years ago.

I would love to find it in color, or one from that building in general building the Super Stock cars. Corporate version of Moshers place.

Factory 1965 Dart Charger 273 Hi-Po. Cragers were original equipment. Sgt Carter drove one on Gomer Pyle. A good friend of mine had a survivor hard top. FB_IMG_1645392595077.jpg

I had a red '66 Satellite just like the one in this picture. 383 2-bbl 4-spd. I really don't miss it too much, after I stopped racing it, I made a pro-street car out of it and really hated it. But it is nice to see a picture of one. Gene.

  21. Watch Gomer Pyle just because of the cars - they were Mopar sponsored......seen that Dart convert on the latest shows showed.

Anyone know any of the history of this one? Possibly indoor drag racing in Chicago? 5BF4128F-CD59-454E-809E-4B1C704B5E4C.jpeg
