  1. Have been following but first time for a post, didn’t really like the tinted windows but in these pictures with the lighting they really look great
I’ve learned a lot from your build thanks for bringing us along for the ride
I can completely understand going back to the old stomping grounds
    Thanks for the inspiration

The window tint was in my head from the very beginning....in my "vision". Glad you followed along and that you enjoyed the build...I sure did!
    Thanks Brother....you've made my night!

I plan on it Os! I put about 100 miles on the coupe yesterday.....and man did it feel good! One thing I had in mind was getting the V8 logo embroidered on each door panel. There's a local girl that does it on the side, gonna ring her up and see if she's interested.

After your 100 mile 'shake down' run, it might be a good idea to go over it and 'nut and bolt' it, looking for anything loose. even something as simple as a highboy model A has hundreds of fasteners that all get vibrations and stress. You did a great job screwing it together, make sure it stays that way.

    Hello Fellas!
I know it’s been a while, but things happen.
The latest is getting the tri power dialed in.... I bumbled upon a couple of those Henkyo replica 94s and decided to make a video of some tweaks to this carburetor. All in all, good results and the elimination of several of my driveability issues. Caution: driving portion very shakey...:D I WILL be getting to my interior and documenting here some other upgrades needed since I’ve put some miles on her. Thanks for stopping by!

I completed the latest step in my changeover to the Henkyo 94 replicas. I did install the ECG clusters/nozzles or whichever term you prefer to:
#1) Out of curiosity, to see how it performed with them installed.
#2) After some research, I've read that installing these can somewhat remedy percolation, or vapor lock.
I also installed a return line to the tank. It was equipped with the fittings to do so. Took her for a blast and it ran great! Here's my latest video. I'm reaching retirement in a few years and would like to monetize my channel for something to keep me busy and maybe make a few bucks. BUT, I need subscribers....1000 for starters. I Have plenty of projects for content and really enjoy making videos! The ride portion of this video is WAAAAAAY better than my previous, I found a better platform for my camera!...... Enjoy!

    Good morning fellas!
So, during a ride last evening my driver door started coming ajar to the secondary latch. I pulled the handle and latch out and found a broken spring the holds the latch out. Hmmm....couldn’t drive it that way, it was too unsafe....what to do without waiting a week for parts.....
Zingo....the light bulb lit....a clothes pin!
A little effort and tweaking, now I’m back together and riding! Enjoy your day everyone!

I was having some issues with the timing on my Flatty, particularly a smoother curve. I thought about it and I came up with a solution. I did a little tech video on the subject. Hope you guys find this info helpful.....it solved certain driveability issues I was struggling with.....Enjoy!

Thanks Mike! It worked very well for me and I figured someone else could use the info if they’re struggling with their timing....

    Yazaki or Bosch?
The Yazaki gets a little sketchy on occasion.....
I really respect y’all’s opinions, that’s why I ask for your input frequently! As always, thank you very much!

For reliability, I would use the Bosch. For looks, definitely the other.

  29. Honestly I'm not really feeling either. The Yazaki looks a bit more vintage but you will need to eventually replace it most likely. The Bosch is probably much better quality but it just doesn't have the look that I like. Either way you choose will look fine. Thanks. Nick

Yeah....that’s the issue....the Yazaki is 60’s vintage and has a better look, but sometimes it freezes at 2k...thanks for the input Devin!
