purchased a pair of american stampings rails for a 32, someone bobbed them on the front, would like a measurement from the front of the side reveal line to the end of the front framehorn to know how much of the rails was removed and how much to purchase to repair them hot rust

You couldn’t reference from a body mount hole from the top of the chassis in the blue prints? Going off of center of hole would be more accurate I would think

American Stamping sells frame blueprints. I would order s set & then you would have all of the measurements so that you can check all the measurements from different positions. I think that mine cost $25.00 + postage. They are large & easy to read. Mine came in a 3' long shipping tube.

  7. The front of a stamped reveal is too wishy-washy as a datum point. Use a hole.

Call ASR, nominate a hole, or even a couple, and ask them to measure.

At a quick glance at the picture posted above looks like 43 15/16 from tip of front frame horn to forward most firewall mounting hole. Takes some adding and subtracting. Double check me though that was quick in my head

14 7/16 tip to axle CL, 32” axle CL to one of the firewall bolts, then 2. 1/2 back to forward most hole on top rail
