Technical ID this clock

Found this interesting clock , no one my circle has ever seen it before , thought maybe the vast knowledge of the HAMB could tell what it came from.

NO actual knowledge, but case design kind of reminds me of a Taylor compass. Try searching Taylor and clock on Google images.
I think I would run off the road while trying to figure out the new configuration of time!

 

Any more pictures? Any markings or date stamp on the housing? I presume the joy stick is for changing the time. Maybe we can match the design on the bezel.

 

I wonder if this is right way up?

Looks like a marine application to me.... I can see this sticking out of the top of the control panel next to a compass.

 

that's what I thought, but it's not all corroded...so....?????

Kinda matches a 58 Edsel speedometer. But I bet it's for a boat.
