Well… they’re still out there boys. Sitting and rotting away in a Pennsylvania barn. I hate saying barn find but she’s the real deal. Owner didn’t want me taking pics of the barn and what else was in there… but once she was pulled out to the field I got the ok. Haha
Last driven in the 80’s, She’s rough but all there. Real SS 327 car with 68000 original miles. She needs the usual patch panels and of course… her motor is locked up from sitting. I’m hoping I’ll be able to free her up and rebuild. Also I love this color combo… that silver/blue looks so good with the white top. She’s going to take a lot but she’s worth it. These things have been getting crazy numbers lately… not that I’ll ever sell. My plan is to start squirreling away parts and panels Till the spring. Soon as I can, I’m planning on pulling the body off so I can do the floors and paint the frame. She’s going to be a driver so I’m not going nuts but I want a 8-10 driver quality. That’s the plan anyway. As of now it’s 8 degrees outside so she’s just sitting on the trailer still. Just for now though!! 184AE7CF-9BC7-46C2-90A1-F3B10B3F768D.jpeg 088B6B98-689A-4FD0-92D1-7B3A358AC445.jpeg DD4D8D16-51C3-4C1A-B281-B6AC531D8ED7.jpeg 7BE7FEC8-DF2A-49DC-8EA0-2F178A008EEF.jpeg A02D754D-73B5-474A-9626-2176C98CAC9F.jpeg 49EF3F85-0D44-4F7F-9650-53FCCA22FA00.jpeg 2C55DD9C-CFB7-4656-812F-C66FBBA22CD6.jpeg 136F3207-04A7-4481-AEA7-E4DB84F98756.jpeg 0BC32FA2-5459-4334-8BD4-1E98C460EA99.jpeg 200C0DE9-FFA1-49E1-8E57-7F9A2BBA11E1.jpeg D54E5060-A6A9-40D5-9BD6-0022A0027781.jpeg 3F10E8A8-31AD-4C62-9D8E-F42D50BA2A9A.jpeg 87B43102-5C5E-4879-9BC9-BD9750D335AE.jpeg 02CFB369-9C71-44E0-83C9-99A65D3F4B19.jpeg

    Good score !

Friend of mine has a family member who has an original 64 or 64 impala ss. Real 327 4 speed car. It's all original and still wears its original paint. Garage kept and runs great, it's for sale but I can't afford it or I'd be cruising in it.

No regrets here. A lot of people loved those SS Impalas.
You should not get any flak for using a small block Chevy. ;)

received_158953549618869.jpeg Awesome! Great score man. There is a 62 ss 4 speed in my town. The guys owned it since new and restored it in the late 80s. It hasn't left the old barn ever since. He won't get it going, sale it or anything. He's well off just doesn't care to let anyone help him and he has MS. I've offered to help him but he ain't budging. Oh and here's my brother's impala.

  17. Very nice. I,ve seen guys here revive the original surface rusted paint after a strong clean/polish.. Wonder if that will work for you with this one.
