Theres also an article in the Nov 08 HRD, titled: "Y-BLOCK, BUILDING FORD THUNDERBIRD POWER FOR RETRO RODS" In it, they stroke out a 292 into 326 cubes. They almost got one HP per cube, andsaid that they thought it was very possible to do so.

When looking rods the C2AE is the best choice. There is a stronger rod the C1TE from HD 292s but it is .072 shorter.
