  1. I was minding my own business perusing the Hamb when Brenda said look what just popped up on her FB account, my old '32 pickup shows up once again, didn't know how much I missed it until I saw it again. :) HRP

Coker Tire Company - tagged products from their shop. Wheel color plays a big part of the overall combination, when it comes to traditional hot rods and street rods. In the case of this traditionally styled 1932 Ford pickup, Danny Berry went with a unique color on the Hot Rod Steel wheels, and matched it with the grille insert to keep the theme going. Danny's tire choice is excellent, with 560-15 fronts and L78-15 rears, providing about 3.5 inches of "rubber rake" for the perfect combo.

BTW - The unique color wheels & grille is 1974 VW Sage Green. HRP

sure gets the wheels spinning in the 'ol noodle about the woulda-coulda -shouda department - usually it is painful to see you old ride and how much the new owner changed things for the worse

It would hurt to sell something like that, but if you never sell, you never make room for the next dream, so dream on.

Didn't paint the valve covers to match, or would that have been to much?

It's always a pleasure to see an old ride IF it has been given respect in the looks department and we all know that is a very personal deal...

If those are current pics your canvas has been apprieciated and that should push the right buttons indeed...

Having made ink in a few places makes one think about tearing into things and may have even helped in the sale of it...

I bought and liked the inspiration my latest Hotrod was...one will never know where the next hoodlum will take it...

I have only seen one 2 of my former rides post my ownership and being incomplete projects one was just made roadworthy and the other one is a regular here and I'm quite happy he was the one that took it to the next level...

The only thing I would change on that truck would be the tire valve caps, and the name on the title!

There was ( 6 decades ago, in Philly ), one of those '32 P/U in Navy Blue, sitting under the gas station sign the on the Blvd near Whitaker. I can't recall which brand of gas.
I do, sure do, remember, That one day it wore a for sale sign.
With out hesitation, Standing tall, I found the owner asking how much. As he said 7 hundred I shrunk. To me could've been 70 grand.
Life goes on. Opportunities do keep knocking.

  22. That truck was what I always envisioned a 32 pickup should look like. Love that truck!

Some opinions don’t even come close to meriting a response.

  25. Many of us have owned 32 trucks. They all suffer from the same shortcomings. Danny had his time with it and knew it was time to move on. He's owned his 4 door a real long time. Ask him for a comparison of attributes and I believe you will understand why the truck was temporary in his world. :)

I posted a pic of an on topic Pontiac with the same wheels as your truck and it was deleted for that. Nothing personal intended Petejoe.

    I’d rock a ‘32 Ford PU!
Hey Danny, didn’t you have another PU you sold that you came across that was “street rodded” ?

the red truck has been deleted (both versions) for modern wheels. perhaps rather than calling the Mods hypocrites simply report the offending post and let us do our jobs, after all we are not everywhere....
