Folks Of Interest Help! Does anyone know Mr48chev personally?

Can you check on him? He last posted at 1:27 Pacific Time, logged off at 1:28, and his last post trailed off into large blank spaces and gibberish.

It might be nothing, but someone please check.

Thanks for the heads-up on this @gimpyshotrods , I have never corresponded with him but I did check past posts and he has mentioned a wife so hopefully if he does need assistance she’s home.

 

Read the reply your concerned about. It had a time of 1:27 and he was last active at 1:28. Lets hope it's a glitch is all.

 

I hope so. Fingers and toes crossed. I don't know him but he seems like a cool dude.

Most everyone drinks and posts. Maybe he just started a little early today.

 

Never impressed me as a drinker. And really not a nice thing to say when someone has concerns.

 

The first paragraph he posted doesn't have a single spelling, punctuation or grammar mistake. I doubt that whatever happened is alcohol related. Still hoping at this stage that it all ends up being ok. Let's not start getting on each other's backs............

Thanks for the concern. I have been using my phone as I have been taking care of my mom for the past four weeks and my internet connection has been sporatic.

 

I purposely did not quote the post I was referring to so it could be edited or deleted.
I also don’t think my reply insinuates I was getting onto anyone

We as a group are in the demographic that is losing members, having children returning for a variety of reasons, and
having to take care of elderly parents. My mother will be 94 this month, one of my sisters took her in and had me build an addition for her. I have several other siblings who also help with giving my sister help or coverage as needed.
I know there are several other members here doing as much or more here, my hat is off to all of them.

 

Damned kids and their me-phones! Sure glad you're OK, but sorry to hear about your Mom, hope it's not too serious and she has a speedy recovery. Take care and keep in touch as a means of maintaining your sanity. Good luck to you and your Mom.
