Need help ! Purchased 39 Chevy 2dr business coupe. Bench seat was unbolted and laying in car. All brackets appear to be still mounted to bottom of wood seat frame. The front mounts look like they just bolt to the floor, the rear mounts look like they slide over something that would be bolted to the floor. That’s what I’m missing. Does anyone know what they look like ? Thanks ! Bob

Bad timing. I just bolted the seat back into my coupe a couple of weeks ago after getting the interior reupholstered.
I could have taken photos of the underside of the seat. The brackets all came out as part of the slide mechanism once unbolted from the floor.

These are from when I removed the seat in my sedan, should be the same. The first picture is looking at the seat track from the rear. The second picture shows where the rear mount bolts to the floorboard (in the red circle)

heres some more of the tracks on the bottom of the seat

these are the only pictures I have as it was a couple years ago when I removed the seats and they’re currently not easily accessible. Hope this helps

This is from the 1941 parts book. Looks like rear mount is shown mounted opposite of what is pictured above, possibly a change after illustration was made?

New old stock fenders? Those would be the Holy Grail if still around unused! When I built my '39 coupe I had to buy pretty decent usd fenders, and then repair the rust issues, and cracks to make them good solid fenders. Couldn't even find good used and we have a great resource for old GM less than a mile from my house!
