Trying to fit then deck lid I recieved with my project I bought. It's not even close. Trying to figure if I have a roadster/3 window lid or the 5 window lid I really need. Who knows maybe it's a model A . If I could get top to bottom and side to side. It would help a lot. Thanks

Model A and 32s are the same width a little over 36 inches except the 3w and its 39 inches. Just a note on the 32 deck lids they have the same radius as the model a and fit well just 4 inches longer

The same, only the 3W is different.

  10. Bought a 32 deck lid years ago thru Hemings. Listed that it came off a 5w. Came to the house looked decent. Flipped it over and there it was. Another piece of deck lid added to it. Seller says but I took it off a 32. Still ain't a 32. He refunded I ate shipping.

YEP!!----I made the same mistake buying a rumble lid in 1962 at a swap meet.
After trying to fit a 3WND lid into my 1932 roadster, I quickly realized the lid was about 3 inches too wide.

35 1/2" or over 36 wide? 3"s or 4" longer? Anyone ever tried this? where do the extra 3-4"s go? top or bottom? Seems a lot easier than trying to find a Deuce roadster deck lid let alone buy it...
