the patterns to make the weiand 7161 2x4 carb adapter plate for a 4-71 gmc blower were on ebay recently.

just wondering if a hamber purchased them and is going to have a few cast.

drop me a pm if you do.

That doesn't look like a pattern to me... it looks like a finished part.

I can't see how a pattern would include counterbored holes and small threaded holes.
They usually were made of wood with a "bondo" type material added as necessary.

The Aussiespeed kit he wants is AS0591R. It is very similar to the AS0459 kit in the link above.

The difference is the adaptor plate. The AS0459 kit has a AS0144 adpator plate to suit the 192 series huffer. The AS0591R kit has the AS0584 adaptor plate to suit the 4-71 huffer. Otherwise the kits are identical.

The AS0591R kit is not listed on the youronlinespeedshop.com site. I bet they sell it though - best to contact them and ask.

    Cheers,

Carter AFBs and the Edelbrock continuations have eight hold-down bolt holes

The inboard 4 are square bore pattern. Carter-AFB-Super-Chevy.jpg

I've seen similar patterns like that for sale before with a manufacturers name on them. Just a word of caution, ownership of the pattern doesnt grant you the rights to make it with their name on it. There have been a few people bitten by the temptation to do it....
