I was bored a while ago and made some "garden meeting" diorama for some of my 1:64 diecast rides... I think it took 5 hours and it was my first time scale building :D
    features:
    - "sunlight"
    - lighting for the night
    - driving car (turning plate with neodym magnet)

  4. Enjoying everyone's post. Alan I liked how you took an old boring Chevy Hubley, and made it into a Super COOL Hot Rod! Same goes for you Uncle Marc ! COOL Diorama. You got a great imagination. And of course I really like all you dioramas too Ed. Very Cool Details! 016.jpg 010.jpg 058.jpg 039.jpg 044.jpg 036.jpg 043.jpg 032.jpg

  16. I found this one today. I have an f47 pickup, luckily not in these beaver colours. Beaver is a former lumber store chain here in Canada. CA1A3C5B-13C7-4C47-87A3-616D9FC46508.jpeg

Reliant Robin. In the U.K. you could drive these with a Motor cycle license. And take the family with you. The goal of a Robin was to get a speeding ticket. Lol.

  26. Good Tuesday. ^^^{ QUICK85 } Thanks and they're COOL ! I haven't seen those yet. I'll add a few Chevys. 20170327_224259.jpg 20170327_224807.jpg 20170403_225444.jpg 20170411_050119.jpg

I have always been fascinated with the Holden built Australian Utes. I am also a fan of the 1937 Chevy cars and trucks which I have owned and driven several over the years. The one I figured I would never own was the 37 Chevy Ute so I decided to build my own diecast version. I started with an extra Liberty Classic diecast 37 Chevy Sedan Delivery bank I had. Some planned cutting and grinding along with shaping a few new metal pieces to get the design I wanted. I used JB KwikWeld to put all the parts together. More sanding, a little body filler, primer and finally paint. Since this was originally a collector bank, I decided to keep it that way and ground a coin slot in the tailgate. Another one-off piece to ad to my collection.
