Get used to it. With chrome prices going through the roof this is the new normal. Unfortunately.

 

Maybe got a screaming deal on a 45 gallon drum of paint...?

 

Even if prices going through space there aint gonna be an option to paint that chrome grin, even rust looks better.
That style are back to the eighties painted chrome topped with yellow or grey naugahyde interior let's never go back to that style

 

I know good chrome is expensive ... comment was more towards @NICK Cee 's posting. Car looks to be a stock 50 Buick 4 door, except for painted bumper/grill. The thread is titled Kustom Buicks. Painted bumpers do not make a traditional custom. I agree with @Acres . Let's never go back to that style.

 

I got no idea how expensive rechroming in the us is.
Rechromed the rear bumperguards and the override not the bumper, cost 650$ and that's 8 years ago, well spend money and really nice quality
Now screw this, let's se some more Buicks instead
