Projects More Progress on my '49 Shoebox Coupe

Finally after two days of NOT below zero here this week I spent yesterday and today in my shop working on finalizing the grille in my '49 Ford Coupe.
After many many mock ups as well as totally different ideas over the last month or so, I believe I finally have the correct one for me...
Still a bit of tweaking to do, but liking this one a lot...

 

It's got the ratrod look to me, but then with all customs beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

I like it.....especially with the bullets on the bumper!

 

I can see you've done a lot of work there but for me it doesn't work as it stands. The fog lights don't fit in with the profile of anything around them and your Dagmars need to be adjusted a lot or. Maybe it's because that's all we can see. Maybe once it's really finalized it'll look better. I think oldiron440 was being kind.

 

I prefer the stock '49 grille.
