Saw your site. Love it. I have been working on my GN for four years. Building it for my grandson. Quarter elliptical springs front and rear. Built every thing from my scrap pile.

Excalibur's radiator shells look like Mercedes K series. I think this is one of those vehicles built on a GM chassis ,keeping the cabin....but adding the 20's - 30's front clip treatment.

A few in that mould used AH Sprite/MG Midget cabins, the latter being common enough at the time. That does look rather like a Spridget windscreen and soft top.

  17. Heres another one that just showed up on PreWarCar. Little French BENJAMIN. Your PC screen is probably bigger than the engine. About 20 years ago i had a real banged up Benjamin grille-shell but with a nice badge . Took it with me to the big UK NSRA swap meet near London. Guy snaps it up in no time because his new born son had been named Benjamin. Everybody happy.

Hell, it looks like the Magneto is nearly as big as the engine.

I saw that. It's tragic. I wish they'd just realize that Morgans simply won't be possible again until there's some kind of revolution.

Did FN build a three? I'm only familiar with the single and the four. The man standing looks French, as does the number plate. The driver could be French or English.

Half how a millenial imagines 1928 to have been, half Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century...
There was a revolt, a palace revolt. Charles Morgan's brother-in-law teamed up with a consultant/'strategic director' to force Morgan out. Now running the show, the outsider has remade Morgan in his own image, using mainly Italian money. They are probably only one dud from following TVR & Bristol out the door (unless they get bought out by the Chinese)...

I couldn't find any pics of either the Martin Special or the Fuzzi 9.

274878659_1123219131811971_9020122359879473259_n.jpg It's an homebuilt...not done yet. Maybe a little big for a cyclecar...but you get the idea.

  30. I think that's a bicycle. Also called a velomobile.
