Dicks rail 11.jpg As Tina would say, we've done it easy, now let's do it, rough!! The rear of Big Dick's rail was about as basically functional as you can get. A good eye will catch the "scatter shield"..... Dicks rail 11.jpg

Okay, just one more !! Some will recognize this as the ass-end of the Dream Truck. Of course, this is a shot of the Danbury Mint model. I am posting it because it is a very sexy rear, but more than that, it is an exact duplicate of the pin striping laid down by my old friend, Shaky Jake. Shaky Jake asked me if he could stripe the Truck when I painted the white pearl, down in Costa Mesa. Since his association with the Truck began when it was just a cab on a pallet, how could I refuse. I gave him the keys and said, just bring it back when you're done. A week later, he called. Since there were no scallops, he had free reign to do whatever he wanted. The results were magnificent. He had done half the Truck in the style of Dean Jeffries and half as Von Dutch, as both had done the original. When it came to the tailgate area, he combined the two, and added his own style to it. I asked how much I owed, and his response made me tear up. He simply said, I should pay you for the privilege of working on this Truck, since it was my childhood inspiration to become a striper.... Shaky Jake is truly missed by all who knew him..... DreamTruck rear.jpg

34 Plymouth Sedan…A long story, but this is just the way I got it, along with everything to put it back together. Heavy chop, channeled, fenderless, 327, th-350, front tube axle with coil-overs, 4 bar, 9”rear. Just wish I had more history on it.

I like it even more knowing it’s a Plymouth. I grew up in the backseat of my dads 34 Plymouth sedan, it’s the car responsible for my infatuation with hot rods

Thanks, I really like it too! I’ve always been a sucker for something that’s a little different
