YOU PILE IS A PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT THAT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN TO A JUNK YARD, RIPPED TO SHREDS, MELTED DOWN AND SHIPPED TO BOYD TO BUILD A REAL CAR!!! ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... JUST KIDDING! IT'S AMAZING! I fucking love cars/ trucks done in this style, it's too cool, props to anyone who knows this style and builds 'em! how about "BASTARDIZED"???
CHET!! LOL i like that... call it "The Anal Intruder" or...in the same vien as "Space Truck 2.0" how about "Space Truck the Next Generation"!! LOL
mount the bed with quick release pins and run both rear section. you can switch em out in about 10 minutes with a couple helpers or a cherry picker!! that'd throw people for a loop and it'd be like having 2 custom trucks. =)
I think that martian guy from the Fred Flinstones cartoons Za Zoo or George Jetson would name it the Anal Assteroid Belt Discovery Probe . I'm not great with names either but a very Cool truck!!! Joe
Frizby, Didn't get to meet you, but Plowboy snuck me into your garage for a sneak peak - this thing rocks dude! Nice work so far! Tim D.
I believe your stuck with CHET. But I would cut the letters out of the tailgate and weld them in a rainbow arch over the rear window when the chop is done. Paint them in gold leaf over a sick green flake paint job!!!
I vote for Red Dwarf...that show kicked ass...and you can have a red skinned midget painted on the cowl in a pin-up girl pose...hahaha
Where are you and Plowboy finding all these 34-35 Chevy Cabs???? Dang it I want one too - I promise not to make a "space truck thingy" I just want a '34-'35 Chevy Cab sitting in my shop
Call it the MAP. Martian Anal Probe. Might be something that Marvin the Martian would cruze. Of course, your going to need aviation lights and some antennas, and a keg of Jack Daniels to power it. What about an ejection seat for those unwanted Martians that end up in the co-pilot seat?
I actually bought Frizby's truck at an auction about 35 miles away from my house. I had my buddy haul it home for me and paid him for that and then I gave Frizby the truck for what I paid for it, $1200 bucks I believe. I guess I will make up for the tow bill in spooning time and lifting heavy objects at my house. I bought my truck about 10 miles from my house. I will tell Heath to post his updated pics tonight. This thing is getting really close to being driveable. I think it will be WAY cooler than mine too.
Wow all that response is cool, I guess I should check my posts more often. Thanks for all the kind words. I really have been working on this even though it may not look like it. It's not in super mock up mode, it is together. Been spending alot of time finish welding and grinding, a very tedious undertaking with this amount of sheetmetal work, which I have never done before. This is my first custom anything, well not true the 52 chevy in the background is a longgoing project, but my tastes keep evolving so it does too. I'm just finishing up the bodywork on the rearend, then I'll be done for awhile, I'm going to get it running and drive it for awhile then over winter I'm thinking of a chop and some other finishing touches. I just received all my stuff to get the motor ready so thats next on the list. Finnaly some fun stuff, I'm a gearhead Plowboy can keep all this body work shit. My next is going to be a coupe of some sort, anything that you don't have to make a trunk for, some patch panels and your done. Oh well enough talk here it is, I've been working on the cove in the rear fo some time now, it will be receiving a sheet of red plexiglass with lights behind it, 6 of them with thunderbird sequencers, and exhaust out of the backup light holes, kind of a hidden belly burner thing.
Do you have your "BMF" wallet yet? Or you waiting till you drive it to get that? Its lookin good Heath. Do you have a 'deadline'?
