A pro’s pro, always wanted to visit his shop, not sure that’ll ever happen now. Sure hope he sticks around here.

  3. It's been a year and still no sign of Rooman. Where is our walking ensyclopedia of nostalgia drag racing? I hope he is doing well.

I remember one of my students whose extended family all migrated to Vancouver I believe in the early ‘70s. Aunts, uncles, cousins, the whole lot. Jokingly known as the Aussie Mafia as they had, I believe, 13 pubs at one point. I commented about Fosters and the kids dad sent me a Fosters jacket and electric sign. An included note said that the reason Fosters sell much internationally that no one in Australia drinks that p*ss!

We've come a long way since colonisation and now have electricity, town water and sewerage as well as curb and channeling and bitumen (Asphalt) road surfaces. We also have our own version of rednecks aka bogans. ;)
He'll need to speak the local language again; bonnet (Hood), boot (Trunk), chassis (Frame) :D
