I got about 5 hours of sleep since I last posted. Some of you guys must stay up all night.

So now I'm thinking gloss white.

I’m going to paint mine with the red Glyptal. I did the valley area in my Flathead block with it and liked the way it turned out.

Now you have to decide gloss, matte , flat. Do you clear it also? :D:D

Paint it white, that way you can see the pressure plate and flywheel bolts easier the next time you do a clutch change.

I've painted the inside a couple of times. My '50 international has a QuickTime bell housing, it came painted inside and out. So, why not?

Probably not; I just stuck it in there to snap a pic of it.

That might not even be the correct yoke, but it came with the trans when I bought it 20 some years ago.

  17. A light color, I paint mine with oil resistant silver so any oil film and adhered disc material readily shows up.

  18. You got it there and its clean. It will not hurt it to pain it, especially if you have paint. LOL

I would paint it is it was on the bench and i had the time.

  19. ...man, you have a real problem if it comes down to this topic,...life's too short to debate this crap...just my 2 cents or less, ...make sure you put this on your show car sign noting the color used and brand of paint, with photos, ...sheesh! I waited all day to post on here, thinkin I'd get over it but didn't.
Had to look to see if it was April first.

Paint it. I hate rust and it will rust. I paint stuff like that a machinery gray so I can see what's going on in there later. It looks industrial instead of "custom". Or red oxide primer.
