    Happy New Year!

Being a first time Grandfather has been a distraction. God is so good and we have been so Blessed. My two grandsons were a couple of months early but momma and the boys are doing great. Thank you for all of the Prayers.

Just wanted to give you a heads up with next year's Stray Kat 500. I'm working on the post cards and hope to get them in the mail soon. We are already receiving entries. It will be a quick race to the first 100 entries. You can register on line or you can mail in your entry. Just send your name, address and what ride you will be brining and the fee to Stray Kat Kustoms P.O. Box 434, Dewey, OK 74029

If you have any questions please just let me know.
    Happy Trails, Mick

  3. Very Kool! And, congrats on the grandsons! I have been keeping up with progress through mutual friends and praying for everyone involved. Seems we became grandpa’s about the same time. :D

I registered with PayPal, but didn't see where to send my information. I sent it to you (Mick) in a PM, but what do you suppose I did wrong?

Recommend the Fairfield or the posh place? I sure hope I can slip away this year. Would love to see it.

Many thanks for the followups, I’m doing fine but we have some family health issues that are slowing our activities for the moment. Hoping everything gets back to normal by summer and being the eternal optimist I do hope to have the Mercury done in time for the Lead Sled show. Mick- if you do get this way let me know, would really enjoy getting together and if anyone else is in the DFW area I’d enjoy showing you some of our hospitality.
I know you have a great show and will sure miss everyone!

    Check it out!

Wayne Zablosky has owned this old Kelly Puckett Mercury for years. They decided it was time to get out of the garage. David Guymon has been busy doing a complete rebuild to this Kool Kustom.

Very honored it will be making its debut at this year’s Stray Kat 500.

    Below is the current picture.

Here is some history I got from Riskste's web site.

    Thats really great news.

  27. Reserved my room at the Fairfield Inn a month or so ago! The '56 is ready to go, I think. Michael say's he got his room reserved, he's ready! The women don't want to ride in the '56 because the air still ain't hooked up so they will be coming up later in the daily, I just don't get it! What's the plan for Friday? Starbird's or sumthin' else?
    See ya's next month....

We have three different runs for Friday that we are working on.

Today I will talk about Prairie Song. Five miles East of Dewey.

    1) Kenneth & Marilyn Moore -Tate recreated 1800s Old West Town that features a Saloon, Post Office, General Store, Jail, School House, Chapel, Doctors Office, Stables and much more. They had a dream they wanted to express in Prairie Song. Now after 26 years of work you can benefit from a dream come true. All of the buildings were designed and built by Kenneth. Marilyn filled each building with beautiful 19th century antiques, designed the interior and arranged the displays areas. What started out as a cottage turned into the old west town of Prairie Song. No blueprints used to build Prairie Song. A one of a kind experience you won't want to miss. Round up the kids and head to Prairie Song today.

You will have to drive down a pasture but it is Hot Rod and Kustom friendly. It is a great place for a unique photo opp. I have attached the link below and a few pics. https://prairiesong.net/

Until a few minutes ago Sherry and I were supposed to be in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Illinois at the same time that weekend. The Missouri commitment evaporated. Now we only need to be two places at once. I'll probably come to Dewy while Sherry goes to Chicago. At least that's the way I'm hoping it turns out. Clarence is still at the painter's and won't be on the road by then though. However, here's a teaser of the front left upper fender:

make model paint color name code sample Ford code Ditzler PPG Dupont
    G B Y 1937 Ford Washington Blue C M1747 IM1550, QDE458 93-3407, 225-31384
(columns don't exactly line up but that's the paint code)

Looks quite a bit different than this pic from Dewey 2016:

    See y'all there.
