  4. How's your arms doing? :) I don't know if you drink beer or not but I hope you're not to sore to re-hydrate yourself. :)

This is actually going pretty fast. It’s been blocked twice before final prime so this is done with a vacuum DA with interface pad. Coming out nice. But yes…I still need beer to survive! :)

Glad to see you are putting paint on such an awesome build. Can't wait to see it in color.

  11. Are you shooting or somebody else? It's been so long since I used a paint booth, I would be lost. LOL.

I’m double gunning it with a good friend and instructor I taught Auto Body with at the college. State of the art equipment that I’m lucky enough to use. They’re on semester break yet this week. We sealed it today, but I forgot to take pics before I left. We were going to paint in the morning, but a raging blizzard is just starting and forecast to last through tomorrow. He commutes an hour so may have to wait till Thursday. No problem as we have 72 hours grace to get the topcoat on. The fun of life on the tundra. Lol

  13. What did you use for sealer? The products I use have a 24 hour window. I hope the weather doesn't wreck your plan. :)

I use epoxy reduced 10% with acetone. Needs to sit overnight to topcoat and has a 72 hour window to topcoat. I’ve used it for years with great results.

My friend is kind of a crazy man…aren’t most body men…he drove over in the blizzard and we double gunned the shine today. Came out great. No runs, no drips, no errors. I guess that’s the way it should be with 70 years experience between the two of us. Happy to have in paint. Now it’ll sit for a month or so while I take a break in Florida.

It’s an early 1970s Ford Fleet grey.

  20. The mark of a smart man: a month or so in Florida. :) Maybe you should stretch that until April. :)
