Looks like mine. Can we see the interior? Some bias tires would be cool.

Yeah, I’ll definitely grab some interior shots when I’m around. It’s old chill tuck and roll.

Bias ply tires will be killer.

New header doesn’t clear this gearbox. Any thoughts on an efficient solution? Relocate? Replace?

Ha! Sorry, brother. I’m not on the HAMB like I was prior to my Facebook addiction.

These are from the listing last year, nothing has changed.

The dog and I made a burger run earlier this week. The weather has been perfect lately in Wisconsin. 294680925_10160049071229292_7319884148137254218_n.jpg

Nice li'l A-V8! The zerk fitting in the steering box fill plug was probably installed to use grease, yes.
Reason? The old 90wt. gear oil will run out past the sector shaft seal if a header is too close! (ask me how I know)

All flathead Ford/Merc V8s have 7/16" std. bolts on front exhaust ports, the others are 3/8" std.
As mentioned above, the reason was because the earlier exhaust head pipes mounted on to the front 2 bolts, sandwiching the exhaust manifold on the front flanges.
Good info above on the stainless bolt specs!
