Nice to see your thread bubble up to the top again. Hate to ask at this late date, but have you shared your wheel and tire sizes with us already? Mind if I ask?

Man, I love the way you've "butchered" this puppy. I feel like I was a closet "East Coaster", as I love the look. You can have only so many high-boys before you want a lowster to show up!!!

Joe, Great build. You nailed the channeled look. Also a great fan of your seat colors.

Thanks guys those side curtains were a lot more work then I figured they’d be. They kind of need to just fit without being stretched tight.

Started making the interior panels yesterday using 1/8” ABS plastic. 4’x8’ sheet about $50 from local supply house. Au-ve-co 808 door panel clips. 9B24A1E4-23B8-409E-BE9B-6D60DD99889A.jpeg

Here’s the first attempt at the kick panel. I planned to keep it simple and just continue the blue pinstripe lines from the seat to wrap around the panels. 13EE34D9-80AA-452C-99D4-A8B1DBC22601.jpeg
This ended up in the trash, just wasn’t feeling it.
Attempt number two kept the blue pinstripes and added in some tuck and roll with a 3” border of white. Much better. 987CAD78-0061-455C-A1D9-F121B530FFB2.jpeg

Finished up the door panels upholstery this week, working on the pieces next to the seat next. I know these don’t look very complicated but it’s taking quite a bit of hours to get them finished. 6B81EFE0-268D-4411-99AF-343D4FE31C09.jpeg 1F7A275C-8103-421A-BB62-3D71D51AEE0E.jpeg

I know these pieces look like a wrinkled mess but once they are stretched onto the panels everything will be even and tight.

A lot of small projects have been completed and I’m nearing the end of the road with fab work. The interior panels are all fit up but decided to hold off and upholster the trunk area after the car is painted. 4DAEF955-C829-4929-B6A8-E46AF4993B91.jpeg

Rolled outside for one last look before taking it apart to finish weld and begin the daunting task of bodywork/paint.
