  4. Happy New Year to you, all of you. @nochop, I plan on visiting Bay area, and surrounding areas, this Spring. If the Year gets better, travel wise.

Old Friday Art from memory and history.

History is all that is left to ponder and enjoy that we made the right choices.

    Hello,

HAMB, Thank you for a great place to remember important parts of all of our growing up years, in hot rods, drag racing, surfing, teenage foibles, etc. Those great 20 something days of explorations and development of character that led up to what we are now, just was a nice way to be living our coastal lifestyle, hectic as the surrounding areas are/were.

In our history, it was custom cars, street hot rods, and drag racing to start it off. But our journey was interrupted and was pointed in different ways. Like all of us that reach a crossroads to make a decision or two, this was ours to choose. Cruising around with friends was always nice and fun.

As we all chose our long distance pathways, we all ended up in different lifestyles. To us from 1966, it was not how much you make, save, or what high powered job you have, it is how happy you are doing what can be done with limited resources. Boy, did we have limited resources. Being a couple did the trick for us, as long as we were together. All was right with the lifestyle, despite the horrific introduction to our ever-involved U.S. History from 1966.

But, as our waning years is now, our health is important and how to keep it healthy is just as important. It is a health issue for all of us, not any violation of individual rights. So, we are still doing what our resolution/lifestyle allows and hope that others will see that the pandemic should stop .

One part of history is that it can be imagined in different ways. For this Christmas holiday season, the RED 1961 Econoline just looked better in the final drawing as being RED. But, in reality, it was a stock factory Light Blue. But, to me, it did not represent the joys of the holiday season. Memories, yes, but not things just needed a little help from my friends…”

“Would you believe in love at first sight?
Yes, I’m certain that it happens all the time.”

“What do you see when you turn out the light?
    I can’t tell you, but I know it’s mine.”

“Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends…

Mmm, get high with a little help from my friends,

Oh, I’m gonna try with a little help from my friends…”

The Chinese got it wrong, it was not the year of the ox in 2021 it was the year of the turkey vulture, ugly and full of death. Hope all of us have a 2022 to make us forget 2021!

  27. If there’s anything I learned last year it’s that you can never take anything ( and I do mean anything) for granted. Happy new year you goofballs.
