You're kidding, I hope. Not much left and what's left is bad. Curious as to how they tell the mileage. Lot's of nice A's for sale for less than 10K out there.

You may better ask Santa for a pair of glasses...that's $3,500 chuckles

Ha, Ha. Still not there. This is the same price:
https://classics.autotrader.com/classic-cars/1929/ford/model_a/101351691 and lot of better ones for not much more. You should buy it.

Of course, the critical, unmentioned bit of information is if it has a title.

That is worth $3,500 all day long, even here in the middle of Iowa. Some repro subrails from Brookeville, some lower patch panels, and a week of welding and that will be a solid car once again.

That's what I thought when I bought my A, and yet 10 years later I'm still cutting and welding.

    Thanks for sharing @Boxcar's 1928...HNY...;)

    Seems damn reasonable to me...

As alluded a title really helps...

Boxcar a link to the ad would help anyone interested as well...the other option is you are a PM away...

Sounds like slow fab guy talking to me! Ha, ha. Hey, we buy what we can afford and make it the best out of it as we can.

It’s a fair price. It’s a jagged pill though. A good set of quarters are getting hard to find and spendy when they turn up.

This is also a Sport Coupe one of the lesser loved models around here...not by me, but I've just have been around here long enough to get that vibe...

84 pics, that's a well documented ad that's for sure...

So it's nice to see one can get into the hobby at a reasonable cost even today but it pays to snoop around...theres also regional differences always...

Thanks for posting up the links fellas you might be instrumental in starting the ball rolling for someone here...;)

I'm not very technical, what type of camera was used to post the original photos, why all the useless, and annoying stuff between photos. Is this what I'm missing not having a cellphone?

A fellow with 500 odd posts shouldn't be dissing a member with almost 29000. You can explain it without being a jerk. Make it a lot Later, Boxcar.

I've worked with worse, but I only paid $300 for it then.
The prices folks want for old tin is ridiculous these days, no wonder we can't get our younger folks interested in old Hot Rods.

Your a funny guy 5window.... he may not impress me but You,....impress me!

I've never had an issue with the The 37kid......you don't need to cause one.

As someone once said...."I am not my post count"

5window... I'm sorry I called you CHUCKLES earlier....that was not very nice. Have a Happy New Year buddy!

The37kid... While I was giving you a little ribbing early about the honest critique you presented with the screen shots....I certainly did not mean to imply that you are excessively particular when I referred to you as Mr. Particular. I suspect that you are just particular enough to be considered cool.....but not too cool, like the Fonz! Anyhoo, Happy New Years!!! All

    Later

There is no problem, just a different camera that I have no knowledge of. Happy New Year!

Just so we don't think HAMBers are the only ones to bicker over little things: I just witnessed two people argue about almond milk to the point that they devolved into calling eachother names.

I thought it would've been funny to interrupt and say, "if this is how the real world is behaving, I'm going back on the Internet!" Hahaha.

That is exactly what the difference is Bob those are not photographs from a phone camera, they are screengrabs of each the images on boxcars phone as he looked at them...
