Good call Mick, I totally forgot about the fact that " SCHUCO", toys were made in Germany.

  2. I could have been very rich. I've always knew that dolls with boobs, and fast toy Hot Rods would sell great. 97B487F4-7834-451E-A7DA-E5327EF85803.jpeg DCB92248-7C4A-45EF-A4D9-45AE4B9B0B12.jpeg DCB92248-7C4A-45EF-A4D9-45AE4B9B0B12.jpeg AA2614E8-6855-4BC3-8273-AD70D8BBE3CE.jpeg 758E0345-69F2-4FB1-8D62-59501155F28F.jpeg

Looks like it's about board games this Sunday.....
I still have the old Monopoly board from some years back...;)
I was thinking about ditching the game pieces and replace them with micro machines....:D:rolleyes:

  4. The car. As a kid, I would not play Monopoly unless I was the car.

Tonight at 8:00 it's a repeat of the Matchbox and HotWheels story.... At 9:00 it's all about the board games... Enjoy! :):)

There's a thing on Netflix called the toys that made us. Good show.

Me and the boy got the slot car track and trains tuned up for winter today. Turned hot laps all day. At 7 the kid can now actually control his car and give dad a run for his money, which makes it super fun. We went neck and neck every lap for hours today. Fun day.

Very cool... Looks like a '70s A/FX track or the newer Tomy track that I have....

Yessir, afx. Four lanes, each with an adjustable power source so I can slow the cars down for younger kids. Saves me money in repairing cars, so they don't shoot um into the wall at full speed, lol

  11. Watching the Lone Ranger as a kid, I'd wear my gun belt & cowboy hat. Probably gonna bust out the N.O.S. lawn darts if that comes up on an episode. 1640170778638644582935804213904.jpg

Not much…we were 8 or 10 years old, the beer we stole from the cooler was the cheap stuff…and the dads were in the driveway showing off their rods.

These have been 'banned' since, the 90s I think? A real vintage set is worth a lot. I sold my set for $500 a few years ago. I listed them on ebay and they deleted my ad, said they're dangerous and illegal, which I had no idea of at the time. But Yeah, they're hugely collectable now.

Edit: to draw the big bucks they gotta come in this box tho. This is the original.

Of course they are illegal...in our "nanny society" the gov't feels it must protect us from ourselves:mad:

Man that is a cool setup ! Ive got all my Pops old Lionel and AF trains as well as his slot cars and some old RC stuff too. Have a nice insulated shed out back Ive been wanting to set them all up and enjoy w my son. Id never thought of doing both train and slot car tracks on the same platform, thats perfect !
