i am 63 and always wanted a 34 ford pu. got one and the in dash ac has vacuum solenoids, found a picture on net that looks just like it called nostalgic air #ID260V or ID270V. i need a diagram of vacuum lines and wiring, i tried nostalgic but they seem kinda busy, i know its a older setup, can anybody help? thank you
Check the diagram of the solenoids and vacuum lines on page 14 of this instruction book for an old Vintage Air vacuum control unit; might help, those things can't be that different. the older units didn't have the relays; but worked the same. https://www.vintageair.com/instructions_pdf/obsolete/Vacuum Series/65000-Series HCD (Inet).pdf
Your only Old if you think Old. At 70+ (one of the younger guys) I'm not there yet than God. Wish I could help with your AC issue.
So little room in a 32-34 Ford pickup, I installed a heat & air unit under the bench seat in my 1932 Ford pickup and it worked great. In a '32 pickup the gas tank is the seat riser so I removed it and built my own I also installed the dryer beside it, I cut holes for the vents in the riser and wired the knobs for the unit in the center of the seat riser, I also mounted my fues panel under the seat. Photobucket screwed up a lot of my photo's I hope this shows up. HRP
LOL I am 67 and still use a Harley Shovelhead for daily transportation. 63 aint even old enough to draw social security. Can't help with the A/C either. Not familiar with the unit, if it was here I could figure it out. I can help with the age thing though. You are only as old as you let yourself be.
You're all welcome on my lawn, bring your tents, I have plenty of space for hot rods, a big burn pit, big grill, smoker, swimming pool, we'll drink beer and bourbon, smoke some deer meat, and have a blast!! And if you ol guys need AC, you can go in the house and cool down
I have lots of shine!! And I can only smoke meat, those drug test come frequently lol No I bought a 16X40 building for the upholstery shop, now send some work so I can make that money back!
