thanks for the photos of Bend we spent a week there and also visited Pilot Butte, great view of Bend also spent time in Elko during our USA visits

I seriously doubt Holden’s had anything to do with many Chryslers but surely none after they had become a GM subsidiary 1924(?). Originally a saddlery then coach builder in Adelaide - where Chrysler/Dodge set up ‘producing’ via a similar process with T J Richards - but that is about as related as it got; they were competition. Then again, RC Rainsford from HMBB (Woodville) then GM-H (Fisherman’s Bend Melbourne) after the Holden project (Detroit) became Chief Engineer at Chrysler Australia (Keswick?), developing the Chrysler Royal in 1954-55 … Early Australian automotive design 1895 - 1953, N A Darwin, RMIT, 2018
