T/Y to the HAMB and members for all the great info available around here.
T/Y to the previous Caretakers of this nice car I was able to obtain less than a year ago. 521B4287-9E7B-4B8E-8A83-221F2BF83DF4.jpeg 2424126F-E97A-4713-9118-939A579BC6E2.jpeg 3FDD77C8-5EF2-40DA-9C0E-E721A9CC6594.jpeg 3731F046-FEE9-46A5-988E-087A85B1C2F0.jpeg

  2. Really nice 39. Man the hood fits good! What size tires in the front? 550's, or 500/525?

Purchased from a HAMB member . FH and 3 spd rebuilt not many miles ago. Good compression. Suspension rebuilt, lowered. I changed front spring, got another Posies to raise 1 3/4”. Fun to drive.

Wiring harness is bad, really bad, like 82 years old bad. I just received a new Cloth Wiring Harness from Bauer Electronics, Chris Olsen.
Cloth 12V harness adding turns and fogs. Chris included for possible future use fuses, wires & relays for Pusher Fan, elec fuel pump & 3rd brake light.
So, battery cables, grounds, voltage reducers for dash gauges and heater, bulb sockets for heads , tails & turns, new headlight switch, USB charger in dash harness, fake wires to voltage regulator . . . All I one box. I should not have to order/ wait on any other parts.

Couple questions for you guys .
) Windshield Crank. When closing at the end of travel, gear wants to slip. Think I have located a new gear. Seller says he has no more Rivets to go with said gear. Have you guys been able to bolt in right side gear instead of rivets ?

) Dome light wires. Feed from glove box up A post to B post switch. And light to light across the roof. Have you guys been successful in snaking/ pulling new wires with Headliner in ?

Yup, that car is fantastic and rides like a dream. Stretch just showed me the new harness, it's sooo nice! Christmas came early and will continue until the harness is in. And by the looks of the harness and supplied documentation, with patience he'll have it up and running long before salt season goes away.

Pass side light, center punched a hole at a angle. Drilled a hole . Fished a mechanics wire up to pass side Sun visor hole. Then another mechanic wire from there down to dash.
Light to light wire . Used a very small electric fish tape to wire wire on top of headliner.
Once again trick was to use a Inspection Camera

I was really digging this car when it was for sale. I was wanting to buy it but didn’t quite have enough money to seal the deal. I was selling some things that would have helped me have enough but I waited too long and I saw it was sold.
I’m happy another HAMBer got it.
    The car looks fabulous!!!

Lovely that is ...Congrats and glad you are getting the few minor bugs ironed out...sure don't need a fire caused by cracked up old wiring to spoil the day...

Dave G, thanks for the kind words.
Just think , in the spring we can safely go for a ride after dark.
Well, if we can stay up that late ? Stretch

  22. Nice car!!! If you know what kind of rivet you need, check McMaster-Carr.

Dropped Oil, Trans Oil, Rear Oil and Coolant.
So around here and the FBarn, I have previously done a lot of FH Thermostat reading.
Pass side always ran 40 degrees cooler than drivers side. Today I pull hoses off top of heads and the cooler running side I find Thermostat cock eyed in hose.

Hello. Adding turn signals (#1157) to a parking light (#1156) only car. Have you guys been able to source a #1157 fixture with a mounting tab on the bottom ?
