Technical Does size really matter......clutch size that is.

    Generally speaking a larger diameter clutch disk has more inertia and is a little harder for the synchros to slow down or speed up when shifting.

    While its nice to have protection, about a kazillion instances of street racing seem to indicate that a stock housing is sufficient for most needs......including an ocassional foray at the drag strip.
