Thanks Walter. My pops grew up in Wellington(and I was born there) just 30 miles south of Wichita.

 

Yep Its still there. Pretty good traditional car culture in this area. I hope to have mine on the road by fall 2016.

More progress on pops av8. Chassis is put back together and the body was sprayed this morning.

For a Christmas present I got these tags for my pops roadster project. They were on a car in 28 but are Damn nice.

 

The body has been painted and reacquainted with the chassis. My pops had the headers and tail pipes coated also. heres a few pics of the goings on yesterday.

I so much enjoyed this morning seeing pictures of the putting together of this roadster. It is so well thought out. So many nice details! The other thing that I enjoyed is the quality of the photography. The lighting is always good, and the pictures always showed clearly what you were doing. You chose a great spot for the group photos too. Thank you. HFH.
