Also curious as to what your problems are. Most vehicle inspections are for safety. I find it is sometimes good to have another set of eyes look at things.

  4. Sounds like you had an issue with the state. Care to elaborate?

THIS IS MY OPINION, the inspectors i had in my case has their own ORC book and will not share it. I have call the state to explain to me where in the ORC it all is NO HELP AT THIS TIME. Hopefully first of the year someone from the state will help LOL

This is a rant thread. The specifics at issue are not relevant.

Sometimes if my temper really just can't be contained, because I'm just too angry (super rare), I get a 2x4 and a hammer and just smack the **** out of the board with a hammer until I've exercised the demons. Maybe that would help.

It always cheers my neighbors up. They laugh their asses off....

What has to be inspected in Ohio ???? In Missouri anything older than 25 years doesn't have to be inspected....

  18. My experience with Ohio (having owned 200+ cars) is they are one of the easiest to deal with when it comes to getting a title, regardless of what state it came from! I have heard many horror stories about other states, but in general I walk out of the title bureau with an Ohio title in my name almost every time!

    God Bless

Well, so far, we know it involves the Ohio DMV and they don't seem to agree. IF rules are un-writed" does that mean they're wrong?Perhaps details will follow.

This is my last post on this matter if you are going to get a self builded inspection for title in Ohio ask lots of questions before you go.

I did my part to help other hot rodders. ( thought this was part of being a member on this forum to educate)

You could help everyone on here including yourself if you were a bit more detailed on exactly what the problems are that you are having with the DMV. It is also possible that someone on here could help you with your problem, but first we have to know exactly what the problem or problems are!

It’s difficult to educate without providing content.
If I told you “don’t shop at “XXXX” wouldn’t you want to know why?

As been mentioned and asked a few times, please provide details of what you were trying to do and the obstacles you encountered.

Folks are joshing with you,not mad or denying an answer. If you would provide details of your encounter, what your specific problem(s) are and proofread/turn off your Caps Lock unless appropriate, I think you'll find plenty of fellow HAMBers happy to help you out if we can.
