RIP dirty old man, may the cars be fast, the beer cold and the women hot on the other side.

He was a character, for sure.
Knowledgeable guy, he would share anything he knew about old cars with you.
He always had great stories too, so my kinda guy.

I had not talked with him in several mos. A friend text me and said to call him, no answer.

Going to miss his threads promoting a car show (Sorry I forget which one) counting down the days.

 

Likely our Run What Ya Brung at Reynolds, GA. Here's Dave running his roadster hard. I hope I'm still banging gears in my eighties.

I got to go for a ride in that hot rod... while we were out I told him that was my first ever ride in a honest to goodness hot rod, he was like: "what!?" and I was like "yeah!" So thanks Dave!

Dave was what I consider to be a real hot rodder & he had the same philosophy as I do...He did Not "suffer fools gladly" but was always willing to help if you were sincere in needing it!
