Saw this on Facebook today. Can anyone here identify this one?

I got to visit with the builder as he had the car at the 2010 Customs, Then and Now building at Pamona Grand National Roadster Show. He told me about the "custom fabricated floating headlights" as mentioned in the above article. He used stainless steel kitchen pans as the buckets and suspended the lenses/bulbs in the center, not touching the outer ring, so as to "float" in the bucket.

 

Not all different but different pics of my 51 ford crestliner custom lead sled. Built between 56-59 and tail lights added in 83 when car was redone

Welcome to the HAMB. Thank You for posting pictures. Where are you from. There have been pictures of it on here quite a while back only showing the rear section of the car taken on a dirt track oval. Up until recently, pictures of your car have showed up on this thread. How long have you owned it?

 

yes it was built in nj. Now I’m ohio. Top was chopped by Richard “korky” Korkes

 

I had recently picked the car up. It’s in northeast ohio now. The pics you are talking about are at lead east in 1983. I have a few of the older pics. Lot of history came with the car including all the paperwork from when redone.
