Does anyone know the whereabouts of this car? I'm almost positive that it is from somewhere in Alberta and I thought I had seen a thread on it about 5 years ago but I'm not getting any results from searching here on the HAMB. At the time I saw the pictures of it, it was painted something close to British Racing Green, had an SBC that the owner had added a different logo to the rocker covers, a hood with side covers that had early F1 spears on them. It was named "Effie" after the seller's mother and for sale for $15,000 US. Anyone have any clues?

No, I don't. Just a car that stuck out in my mind. It had some things that I really liked. Hopefully some of our Canadian members will remember it.

That car was for sale at the Red Deer swap meet in June. Not sure if it sold or not- but it was a quality build with great attention to detail

  6. Somehow Jelly Bean Hot Rods & Customs up in the Dakotas rings a bell, but that's all I got.

Pretty sure, could be an A, but I'm almost positive it was a T. I remember the trunk as being 26-27

Thanks, I tried that but came up dry, it was this search combo below that yielded a slam dunk...no Hamb connection however...there may still be however...

There’s a Jelly Bean outfit out here on the west coast. Are you sure there is one in the Dakotas?

The investigation skills of the HAMB rivals that of any of the worlds security services!

$15K for that.........where do I send the check? Very clean build! That nose is long enough, it looks like you put a straight 8 in there!

Like the article Stogy posted the car is located in Alberta in the Edmonton area.
It’s for sale and is still owned by Grant Harlton the creator of the car.

I saw it at several events this past summer but didn’t take any pictures of the for sale sign.
Most recently it was listed for sale on the Alberta Kijiji site but the ad is gone presently.
If I hear anything else I’ll post it.

If I remember correctly, the V8 at the back of the side panel louvers was embossed. Geez, Stogy, thanks for finding this. I just always thought this was one of the coolest rides I'd ever seen.

    You’re welcome :D
@alanp561 and just think, the asking price is in Canadian $ so with your US $ you can afford the shipping too.

My eyeballs aren't up to the task of deciphering the price in the pic. How much is he asking now?

I’m not sure, you could give him a call.
I can’t recall the asking price from his Kijiji ad this past summer.

Thank you for the reply. I can't afford it but damn, I like that car.

  28. It's not my "cup of tea", but it is very cool and I can surely appreciate what it took to bring it to fruition. Considering the effort involved, that price is probably a bargain.
