I don't have pictures yet but my bucks up buddy bought himself probably the best 53 Ford Convertible in the world. Red with black top, every option you could get in 53, all stock except for duals with Smittys. I am not much of a Ford guy but this one is so nice I have to like it. It has had a nut and bolt restoration at some point and is still perfect. He claims it will be driven this coming summer, I can hear him now the first rock chip it gets:rolleyes: He just spent about three times what his 55 T-Bird is worth to have it restored last year and true to his word he drove it a lot so maybe there is hope for some crusin in the 53 ragtop!

Due to Covid we avoided most contact with my family, don't want to risk exposing my 93 year old Mom. A little surprise was a 100 bucks tucked in an envelope from my better halfs parents for taking
her mother to a couple of Dr visits and to a minor Surgery. Even more surpised when the better half said to use it on my truck!

Got some engine goodies and enough summit gift cards to put a good dent in the cost of my tires.

My wife got me a dogleg upper steering arm for the '32 project which she gave me early, then got me a trans cover made for the '39 trans in the '32. Son in law misread my list and got me 2 more dogleg upper steering arms! Hopefully those can be returned and then replaced with dropped lower arms.

Had a good Christmas anyway and no one is sick!

My kid got me a pair of edmonds air cleaners for my flathead, and a set of polished waterpumps .My friend gave me a vintage set of edmonds heads for it, and these will match my edmonds intake. My wife got me a flathead generator, alternator and a new starter. Looks like its time to tear down the green t and clean it up. 151EB165-881C-4FDC-919C-C2F3B2D13295.jpeg
