Ryan, I want to thank you for all of the years you have provided this group of us with the best hot rod resource there is! What you have helped build is truly a gift for all of us. I hope your efforts have brought joy and fulfillment to you and given a comfortable life for you and your family. The HAMB is a big part of my life so THANK YOU and MERRY CHRISTMAS! David
Merry Christmas to my H.A.M.B. friends and future H.A.M.B. friends! I started a thread but new Canadian Rods Christmas cover from Jeff.
A bit OT, but my personal favorite as Mr & Mrs Claus are the spitting image of my parents before they passed. It always makes me smile, and I can hear my mother saying that in my mind.
last week... Hello, One of the oldest holiday ornaments or decoration we have going on in our small house is 16 years old. When our Granddaughter was staying with us from 6 months old to the time the pandemic hit, this little tree came out to play each year. To the bright opened eyes of her face when we put it up with a new ornament with the year and name on it had its rewards. She thought it was her own tree… which it was. This year, being 16 and earning her driver’s license was a huge step for her. When it came to the holiday time, we always looked forward to having her spend some time with us, like it has been for the last 15 years. This year, it was a lunch and opening presents. But, the surprise was the “red glow” that happened to the snowman topper when we juggled the new "fairy light" string. “Home is where the heart is…” Jnaki Thinking back to our 20 something small apartment days, my wife and I have been through a lot, similar to others. But, as old as time gets, we still enjoy the sight of a big smile on our Granddaughter’s face when we talk or especially, during opening presents, time… We used to sing the song with the lyrics, “Over the river and through the woods, to Grandmother’s house we will go…” Now, we are the “Grandmother’s House” and it seems appropriate to continue the tradition in our and her family, during these trying times of the pandemic health issue. The 16 year tradition continues to the next chapter… college and beyond… Happy Holidays to all… Stay safe and healthy... Note: The 2021 "wish list" came true!!! Thanks for such a quality hooded sweatshirt. It will automatically be in the rotation for the coming 40-50 degree days and nights here in So Cal.
Dang......had it on my other computer - oh well - hope all got their wishes and all the best in the New Year !
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all my fellow H.A.M.B ers ( this includes all the HAMB wives and children) . Oh and @Ryan , just so we’re clear you have your health and your wits but do you have your marbles?
