I'm curious as to how well these paint ideas could be done now in a wrap. They're always improving the capability. So far, I haven't seen in a wrap anything as high gloss as buffed clear, but maybe in time...

My buddy Mike's Vette when we hauled it home. Bet that fog job was done with rattle cans. Told him I'd conk him on the head if he touched the fog job, extra taillights, or flairs! Not really. But I would give him a severe verbal lashing.

Yeah well, when the paint to wrap cost ratio is 2:1 and the time ratio is 10:1, I'm definitely looking at options. Besides, IT IS CHRISTMAS!!!

The first "custom" paint job I recall seeing was on a (pearl?) white '62 Vette. It had a frosted rainbow about two feet wide going the whole length over the top, front to back. At the one-horse local gas station me & my bikin' buddies used to hang-out at & pound soda's. The hood was up and the driver was spitting in the radiator and cussing up a storm. Learned some new "bad" words that day!
At the time, that Vette was the most beautiful car I'd yet seen!

Obviously the same, old complaint. If it's not a '32 Ford couple on devon slicer crossplies, painted dark blue it's got no place in this universe.
Whatever you do don't put lace paintjobs on the roof of your rides.

Mild by some standards but I sure was smitten by it back in the day.

I love the styles back then, the Montra of "dare to be different". Cars today have become so cookie cutter designed that it's so nice to see something different.

This is one my local 70's favorites. This is the only picture I have of it. I saw it the Wooden Chicken cruise in a number of years back. Paint by the Beard, And just a bit of chrome for accent.
