I'm going to guess close to a million.
    And say $987,000
I did recently get to touch it.
I'm never washing my hands again.

  8. Got to see it at the Petersen in February 2020. It looked great displayed next to Cadzzilla.
    My guess is still $1,175,500-

The most expensive hot rod I know of is Tom McMullen's deuce at $700K. It will be interesting to see if this will bring a third more.

I find it interesting that the guesses here are all over the place just like the 'experts' Jive-Bomber asked in the beginning.
My guess is $479,000. I have no clue as to why.

I heard on the radio about the older couple that actually had that phone number. They said their phone rang all the time. Jenny is not here.

My guess-$1,225,000. And another guess- Dennis Collins isn't much of a hot rodder or customs fan based on his reactions to both in Wayne's garages. I guess we all can't be cool.

Story in the news this morning said $1.25M.
    In today's economy I wouldn't venture a guess

Well my bid of 1,079,500 USD will win it for me. But does that include buyers premium or not? then I will go to the shippers in LA or Long Beach where it has the asbestos removal done. Then it gets shipped to Australia after god knows how long sitting at the docks, where Customs, Quarantine and Border Force go through it. Some of the clowns in Border Force ( sort of branch of customs in OZ) will then decide to go through it looking guns, drugs and porn. They will slash all the upholstery to see what inside. then remove paint from the body work to make sure there is no coke mixed in with the bondo, X ray the rest looking for AR 15's.
End result it will be restored then placed in my garage at a cost of over $2,000,000 AUD and probably two years time. Ahh life in the modern world.

Bids won't reach reserve. Sold later privately by Wayne. :)
