This year I finally had some time to do a little decorating in the shop, it's a nice place to sit in front of the wood stove and have a drink after a day of working on the projects. Next year I plan to setup the Lionel Steam train under the tree, now that's some serious nostalgia. Merry Christmas to all of you! Cheers
I couldn't afford artificial snow so I covered the garage with sanding dust this year. I tried to make a dustman but it doesn't pack well. Merry Christmas!
I do have a string of Christmas lights in my garage, but they stay up year round. For my stoner buddies.... Lol. I actually never plug them in, but they're up there!
Oh that isn't attic access, that theres a Santa chute so he doesn't hurt his back lugging Hemis down off the roof.
Hello, We have most of our lights up for the winter holidays. But, there is always room for more tastefully done lights. So, the last remaining stash of lights are a 40 year old Snowman Ball lights and a series of different 2020 lights that we did not put up last year. The rope lights are still curled, the little 1 inch Ball Lights on a string were for our Granddaughter’s side yard entrance way, during the height of the pandemic. And finally, a short white baby bulb string of lights for an outdoor tree that looks like a shaped pine tree. So, this year, I decided to try and fit them into the scheme. We changed our design just for this year and luckily, it survived the 25 mph winds we got last week. Nothing got damaged or dropped to the ground. Our preparation was successful in the worst weather we have had in quite some time. Jnaki But, now, those lights are lit up on our workbench and wondering if they will get the call this year. The colorful paper covered ball lights around the shuttered windows were put up last year for the “garage sessions” during the peak of the social distancing and mask requirements. With portable heaters, the garage was a warm winter welcoming during the daytime visits. This year, they stayed up to give the garage workbench some color and cheerful tones to the work at hand. But, those new/old lights will probably have to wait their turn just like the boxed, colorful lights we have in a container, we used several years ago on our old sailboat, down in the harbor.
