Hot Rods How about some love for the T-Bucket?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, May 9, 2021.

  1. from the 1932 movie 'hot saturday' with cary grant. pretty good flick.

    here's another couple of shots hot satuday 1932 2.jpg . hot satuday 1932 1.jpg

  2. that guy's local to me. forgot his name but a pretty good guy. if i recall the engine, three speed stick, and rear came out of a '56 chevy. built it in his basement i think. note the neat home-made spacer manifolds between the head and roadster headers for under car exhaust. massachusetts had some exhaust regs when the car was built.

  17. That actually looks like a Dodge body. It's not a Ford T. What a great car! ^^^^^^^^^^^

  18. Oh look. The dreaded, undriveable, totally unsafe, cowl steering set-up. Maybe somebody ought to tell him the HAMB doesn't approve.

  21. Here's one my dad owned from the mid 70's to about 1999 or so. My parents drove away from their wedding in it. I'd like to find it someday. The first pic is my parents cruising down Grand at the Iowa State Fairgrounds around 1975. Remaining pics are when it was a project car being "rebuilt" in the 80's in our walk out basement. It never was rebuilt and was sold as a roller with an SBC. The 4 cam Ford motor was sold when dad died in 06.
