    May he rest in peace,
That stretched T sure looks familiar, was he at the street rod nationals in Tulsa in 1973 with it?

  3. No ... Ed sold his "Digger T" in 1972 ... and built his '33 Aussie Phaeton in 1973.

NOTE: This similar "stretched T" was at the 1973 NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Tulsa:

Thanks, that clarifies that. Somewhere in a box of photos I have ones of that car. I was thinking Gary might have drug him along with him when he was with NSRA before starting Goodguys. The guy I call my big brother was around Gary a lot back in those days.

  6. Ed's Memorial Service.jpg

I attended Ed's "Celebration Of Life" / "Memorial Service" on Friday (October 5th 2018).

There was a packed house at the Mortuary Chapel ... and several Rods, Customs, & Classics in the parking lot.

In addition to Ed's family & friends, his fellow Hot Rodders (from Nor~Cal Early Iron, Bay Area Roadsters, NSRA, Goodguys, Danville Dukes, Central Valley Rods, and many other "Who's Who of Rod & Customs in Northern California") were in attendance.

Ed's daughter, son, son-in-law, nephew, & fellow Hot Rodders gave wonderful eulogies ... and as a US Navy Veteran, Ed was granted "Full Military Honors" by the American Legion Post 263 Honor Guard (i.e., US flag folding & presentation to his wife, the playing of "Taps", and a "3-Volley Salute" by 7 members of the honor guard).
