Technical Radatron Tachometers

I know this topic was posted before.. since then I came across this awesome tach and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it.. it’s so well preserved it deserves to go back into duty..Radatron was first to manufacture radar detectors... . Id offer it up if anyone can use it by the way..

 

10,000 rpm! It's very cool looking, although I can't imagine what engine that would be necessary for, unless it's from a motorcycle or something.

 

I always like the Radatron gauges, because most of them have the cool crossed checkered flags...like this guy....



That tach of yours looks like it shared the same style face as the Sun tachs did.

Yes, and it goes up to 100. 100 times 100 is 10,000, this is a 10,000 RPM tach.

..wonder if radatron sourced the faces from Sun ..,,gonna open it up and take a look inside....must of been carefully kept in storage....
