Definition of a 'Kemp'?

    After finishing all the body work, and filling it down smooth how much lead would still be on the vehicle and how much on the floor? I would not imagine as much to weigh it down more than the other things they added to their cars.
     
  2. I am unaware that the term 'petrol' was in common usage in the United States either 'back then' or now. :confused:
     
  3. This photo is from a magazine article Roth did on customizing HO scale plastic cars. I can't find the article or remember what it was in but I do remember him referring to them as "little kemps".

    I know that in his younger days when Jerry Titus was hanging around Darryl's shop he actually went on the show tour with Darryl and Roth. That could explain where it came from...
